MAPLE COTTAGE: A Fresh Take on Classic Charm
A house that had lost much of its original character over time has been thoughtfully renovated into a home with presence, personality, and warmth. Molly Quinn approached the project with the objective to restore a sense of architectural character that had been stripped away over time. By reintroducing classic elements like refined millwork and graceful trim profiles, the house now feels authentic.
Layered over this refreshed framework is a subtle interplay of orderly patterns, soothing textures, and patina that brings the interiors back to life. A rambling sage green wallpaper grounds classic materials such as honed marble, white oak, and hand-glazed ceramic tile. A mix of vintage lighting, copper, bronze and polished nickel finishes work to balance each space.
