MAPLE COTTAGE
A house that had lost much of its original character over time has been thoughtfully reimagined into a home with presence, personality, and warmth. Molly Quinn approached the renovation with the clear objective to restore a sense of architectural character that had been stripped away over time. Through the reintroduction of classic elements—refined millwork, graceful trim profiles, and proportionally considered detailing—the house now feels grounded again, as though it’s found its authentic self again.
Layered over this refreshed framework is a subtle interplay of orderly patterns, soothing textures, and patina that brings the interiors back to life. Grounding wallpaper serves as a supportive backdrop to classic materials such as honed marble, white oak, and hand-glazed ceramic tile. A mix of vintage lighting, copper, bronze and polished nickel finishes work in tandem to balance each space. Every detail is carefully considered to feel both refreshed and lived-in. The result is a home that feels deeply personal and quietly expressive. What was once neutral and flat now carries rhythm, warmth, and a quiet confidence, making everyday moments special.
